The context

A large insurance company had been struggling for some time to find the right Business Continuity Management consultant to structure and mature their BCM framework and align it with wider Group standards and governance. Budget constraints meant the role was positioned as a medior profile, which made it even harder to attract someone with the right mix of experience, stakeholder management and business understanding.

02

The approach

We started by understanding the challenge behind the request rather than matching CVs to a job description. That allowed us to explain the opportunity transparently to candidates and to communicate clearly what the client was actually trying to achieve. Through our network in the cybersecurity and resilience community we identified a strong niche profile in less than a week.

03

The outcome

The consultant was available at short notice, fitted within the client's budget and proved an excellent match. The assignment is still running today, with the consultant helping the client mature their Business Continuity Management capabilities and align them with the wider Group framework.
