01The context
An international logistics company was working on IT infrastructure projects that kept lingering. In a meeting with the client, our senior associates and recruiters qualified the underlying need and identified the real issue: the team was missing Kafka expertise. There was no formal vacancy and no urgent request.
02The approach
That expertise gap was communicated internally straight away. Because of our candidate-driven approach, we already knew a specialist with exactly that background. We proposed the match proactively and presented the candidate, who the client was happy to meet for a first conversation before deciding to onboard him.
03The outcome
The collaboration ran for several years. The client could move much faster on projects that had been stalled by the missing expertise, and the internal team learned from the consultant along the way, leaving them better equipped for what came next.
